Power Cup’s third day once again offered a full dose of volleyball, community spirit, and a traditional tournament atmosphere despite the rainy weather. During the day, rain showers soaked the courts on several occasions, but that did not slow things down. All age groups were in full swing as matches progressed toward the weekend’s decisive games.

The day’s matches also featured one of Power Cup’s new team spirit initiatives, as Neova Team Spirit cards were handed out during the first matches of the morning. The purpose of the cards is to highlight fair play, encouraging behavior, and positive team spirit – the very values on which Power Cup is built.

Across the courts, thousands of rallies, joyful successes, tight battles, and above all, the joy of volleyball were seen throughout the day. Players, coaches, and team staff were fully engaged in every point as the stakes continued to rise toward the decisive stages of the tournament.

During the day, the event area also offered plenty of additional activities as usual. The Power Market activities, partner booths, and various competitions drew participants to spend time together between matches. A special highlight of the day was the visit from the Finnish men’s national volleyball team.  The national team players met with Power Cup participants, took part in stage competitions, and thanked everyone for the incredible match atmosphere at Veikkaus Arena the previous day. For many participants, the visit was one of the highlights of the day, and the presence of the national team stars brought great joy, smiles, and inspiring moments for young volleyball players.

As evening arrived, attention shifted to the most anticipated shared moment of the day – the Power Cup disco. Disco brought everyone together to celebrate and take over the dance floor at Lage’s performance. The evening culminated in a shared festive atmosphere, where the experiences of the day were given a fitting conclusion through music and togetherness.

Although some of the weekend’s decisive matches still lie ahead, the third day once again demonstrated what Power Cup is all about: the joy of sport, friendship, community, and shared experiences through volleyball.
