With a school accommodation pass, breakfast and evening meal are served at the schools.

Hotel accommodation

The hotel accommodation pass includes breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

The hotel accommodation pass has a minimum booking requirement of 3 passes. Hotel rooms are triple or quadruple.

The hotel accommodation pass is only available for the period TO-SU (additional nights can also be booked from Wednesday onwards).

Power Cup and HSL travel ticket (bus, tram, metro)

When registering, it is now possible to purchase an additional service for Helsinki public transport, an HSL 4-day ABC zone travel ticket, at a discounted Power Cup price!

 

HSL 4-day ABC mobile ticket 14€ / person

The ticket is the same price for an adult and a child (7-17 years).

Power Cup will provide those who have purchased an HSL ticket with a ticket code, which will be activated as a mobile ticket in the HSL app. Please note that the HSL app must be downloaded to the mobile phone of everyone* who uses a mobile ticket and public transport.

*A ticket for several people can be activated on one mobile phone. This can be helpful, especially for the youngest participants who do not yet have their own mobile phone to which the mobile application can be downloaded. Please note that the person who has tickets for several team members activated on their phone must always be with them during the entire journey when using public transport.

The HSL app is a comprehensive tool for public transport (bus, tram, metro) in the HSL area: it includes, among other things: route guide (shows live locations), timetables and disruption information and enables tracking of ticket validity.

Download the HSL app for free from your phone’s app store. Open the AppStore or GooglePlay on your phone, and search for HSL. You can recognize the app by the blue HSL logo.

What the event pass contains

The event pass gives the participant a lot of benefits:

  • Matches, match schedule and scoreboard throughout the four-day tournament. Teams will play an average of 8-10 matches during the tournament. With over 800 teams, building and scheduling a match programme requires a lot of experience from previous years. A mobile logbook makes it easier and faster to enter and follow match results using the MunLentis app. The app also reminds teams of their own refereeing duties.
  • Insurance: Buyers of the Power Cup Event pass are insured. The insurance is valid for the entire duration of the tournament and for travel from and to the tournament. In the event of an accident, contact the Power Cup info desk for assistance with insurance matters.
  • Accommodation, depending on the selected type of pass.
  • Meals from Thursday lunch to Sunday lunch (7 hot meals). Breakfast and evening snacks according to the selected event pass type.
  • Tournament shirt and pass: The tournament shirt is a collector’s item for some. Others completely transform the shirt – there are many ways to do it!
  • Great extra activities: The opening ceremony officially kick-starts the four-day volleyball festival with an artist chosen by the youth. In addition, participants can enjoy a wide range of extra activities and partner activation points every year.
  • A wide selection of activities and shopping opportunities in the Event market area.
  • Power Cup disco, accessible only with an event pass.

Registration for new club

If you are a new club and are participating in the Power Cup tournament for the first time, complete the registration in the 1. STEP.

Hotel introductions

Scandic Pasila

A peaceful hotel with excellent transport connections, just a short walk from Pasila railway station, close to the Tripla shopping centre and right next to Central Park. Modern rooms, a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant, and convenient parking facilities.

The 4-person rooms at Scandic Pasila include 2 × 80 cm beds and 1 × 140 cm bed, which can accommodate two children.

Scandic Pasila is located at Maistraatinportti 3, right in the heart of Pasila, Helsinki, close to the Tripla shopping centre, the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, Hartwall Arena, and Linnanmäki amusement park.

Note! In the 4-person rooms, the beds are 2 × 100 cm and 1 × 140 cm, suitable for two children.

Distance to Käpylä Sports Centre: approx. 2.5 km

Public transport directions: Scandic Pasila → Käpylä Sports Centre

  • Walk to Pasila railway station (approx. 5 minutes from the hotel).

  • Bus 69 runs directly from Pasila to Käpylä.

  • Board at Pasila station, stop A.

  • Get off at Käpylä station, stop A.

  • The journey takes about 10 minutes.

  • From Käpylä station, you can walk to the sports centre (approx. 10 minutes) or continue by local bus, e.g. lines 64 or 65, depending on the schedule.

Total travel time by public transport: approx. 20–25 minutes

 

Scandic Park Helsinki

A relaxed hotel near the centre of Helsinki with good transport connections in Töölö. Convenient parking facilities, a top-floor swimming pool, and a cosy restaurant ensure a pleasant stay. From here, you can experience the city’s sights even on foot.

Scandic Park Helsinki is located on Mannerheimintie, right next to Töölönlahti Bay and Finlandia Hall, about a 15-minute walk from Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Distance to Käpylä Sports Centre: approx. 4.5 km

Public transport directions: Scandic Park → Käpylä Sports Centre

  • Walk to the Hesperian puisto bus stop (approx. 2 minutes from the hotel).

  • Bus 69 goes directly to Käpylä:

    • Board at Hesperian puisto.

    • Get off at Käpylä station, stop A.

  • The journey takes about 10–12 minutes.

  • From Käpylä station, you can walk to the sports centre (approx. 10 minutes) or continue by local bus, e.g. lines 64 or 65.

Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress

A peaceful hotel next to Helsinki–Vantaa Airport. Versatile services, a swimming pool, and early breakfast ensure a comfortable stay. A large parking area and a free airport shuttle stop are conveniently located right outside the front door.

Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress is located in Vantaa, close to Helsinki–Vantaa Airport at Robert Huberin tie 4. The hotel offers a calm accommodation option for Power participants, including a pool area.

Public transport directions: Scandic Aviacongress → Käpylä Sports Centre

  • Walk to Aviapolis train station (approx. 10 minutes from the hotel).

  • Take the train (I or P line) from Aviapolis to Käpylä (approx. 25–30 minutes, no transfers).

  • From Käpylä station, you can walk to the sports centre (approx. 10 minutes) or take a local bus, e.g. lines 56, 64, or 69, depending on the schedule.

Total travel time by public transport: approx. 40–50 minutes

  • 3-person room: 2 × 90 cm beds + 1 × 120 cm wall bed

  • 4-person room: 2 × 90 cm beds + 2 × 90 cm wall beds

 

Scandic Aviapolis

A peaceful hotel next to Helsinki–Vantaa Airport. Modern rooms, free airport shuttle service, and early breakfast ensure an easy and comfortable stay. The parking area and airport shuttle stop are located right outside the front door. You also have access to the services of the neighbouring Aviacongress hotel.

At Scandic Aviapolis, the 3-person rooms include a fold-down wall bed with a weight limit.

Public transport directions: Scandic Aviapolis → Käpylä Sports Centre

  • Walk to Aviapolis train station (approx. 10 minutes from the hotel).

  • Take the train (I or P line) from Aviapolis to Käpylä (approx. 25–30 minutes, no transfers).

  • From Käpylä station, you can walk to the sports centre (approx. 10 minutes) or take a local bus, e.g. lines 56, 64, or 69, depending on the schedule.
