As the defending champions of the Golden League, the Finland men’s national team enters the new European League as the favorite. A special treat awaits the home crowd when Finland’s home tournament is played June 12–14 at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki. At the same time, thousands of junior volleyball players will celebrate the start of summer at the four-day Power Cup volleyball festival at Käpylä Sports Park.

The national volleyball team is pleased to invite everyone who has purchased a Power Cup pass to Veikkaus Arena on Friday, June 12, starting at 6:00 p.m., (doors open at 5 p.m.) to cheer the Finnish team to victory against Albania. Teams must register via the link below:

Fri, June 12: Finland vs. Albania at 6:00 PM 

Sat, June 13: Albania vs. Croatia at 4:00 PM 

Sun, June 14: Croatia vs. Finland at 3:30 PM
 

Finland is ranked first of 27 teams in the men’s European League. Each participating country will host one three-day, three-team tournament, which will be played June 5–7, June 12–14, and June 19–21. Each participating country will also play in two other tournaments as a guest. 

The other two group stage tournaments in the Men’s European League are: 

June 5–7: Austria (host), Montenegro, Finland 

June 19–21: Iceland (host), Slovakia, Finland 

 

The semifinals and finals will be played as two-leg matches. The semifinals will be held on June 27/28 and July 1, and the finals on July 8 and July 11/12.
