EVENT PASS AS A PAYMENT METHOD

While the pass worn around the neck is still in use, it now includes an electronic identifier. With this update, the pass also functions as an access card – for example, you’ll need it to enter the dining area – and as a payment method at kiosks within the tournament area.

Guardians can easily load funds onto the pass during the event. When loading money, a preauthorization is placed on the account, and only the amount actually spent will be charged. Any unused preauthorized funds will be automatically released after the event. The event pass can be used as a payment method at Power Cup’s official kiosks and the tournament center. Standard payment methods (debit card and cash) are also accepted at the event.

The event pass is a safe alternative to cash and traditional payment cards. Loading funds onto the pass is simple, and there’s no risk of losing money if all the funds aren’t used or if the pass is lost. Each pass includes a unique code that helps ensure it is linked to the correct user. The team’s coach or guardian is responsible for making sure the pass is labeled with the user’s name. Be sure to bring a permanent marker for writing the name on the pass. Also, take a photo of your pass and its unique code with your phone – that way you can identify your own pass if needed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

1. Enter your phone number (without the leading zero) and press
the Send code button.

2. Enter the verification code you received.

3. To link the event pass to your account, press the Link your
card or wristband button.

4. Enter the code printed on your wristband or card into the text
field and press Link.

5. Load the desired preauthorized amount via the online payment
service.

6. Press the Add balance to your account button.

7. Enter the amount you wish to load and press Confirm.

8. Choose your preferred payment method and follow the payment
provider’s instructions to complete the transaction.

9. Once your payment has been accepted and the balance has been
added to your account, you can return to the main page by
pressing the arrow button on the left side of the screen.

10. Your loaded balance is now active on the event pass. The
participant can use the loaded funds at sales points during the
event.

Note: When loading money onto the event pass, a preauthorization is
